1) Background of the research

Recent issues of Research Intelligence (102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 109 and 110, Bruce-Ferguson, 2008; Adler-Collins, 2008; Whitehead, 2008b, 2010a) have raised questions about limitations of printed, text base media of educational research, such as the British Educational Research Journal (BERJ), for communicating the meanings of the energy-flowing values that contribute to the explanatory principles that can be used to explain educational influences in learning.
